MTV Hype Music artist, Marc Robillard and the Articulation Agency continued their music branding and marketing partnership throughout 2011.  Robillard continues to experience popularity through his song placements on programing across both VH1 and MTV. The musician’s branding, marketing and online promotional efforts were supplemented and supported by our design and marketing team. Employing best practices on Facebook, Twitter and MySpace, the team at Articulation continues to mobilize Robillard’s existing fans and expand his reach.

One of Southern California’s leading healthcare law firms was in need of a brand reposition, logo update and website redesign. Articulation completed a competitive analysis of the marketplace to develop the appropriate core message and position the firm apart from other industry leaders as a valuable partner for healthcare professionals in the changing landscape. The new law firm website and branding project included a new design, updated imagery, site structure, content and implementation of organic search engine friendly content and strategy. The team at Articulation performed extensive research to find fresh imagery, setting Miller Health Law Group apart from their competitors.

In the 4th quarter, Articulation continued its successful partnership as branding agency of record with couture jewelry company K. Brunini Jewels.  As part of the brand management, marketing and design relationship, the team at Articulation worked on several marketing initiatives during the period. One example was in the development of an interactive digital flipbook to display all press features for the year.  In addition, Articulation worked on email marketing best practices and research, achieving growing email response rates for campaigns across client outreach initiatives.

It was another successful quarter for the team at Articulation and K. Brunini Jewels.  In preparation for the prestigious Couture Jewelry show in Las Vegas, KBJ called on Articulation Agency to design and implement the Couture booth display and produce the trade show materials. The booth featured large logo images and sweeping high-fashion photographs affixed directly to the walls.  The trade show materials brought together the unique booth design and KB.J’s signature branding for optimal marketing to clients at the show.  With the bold, eye-catching booth visuals and their beautiful couture pieces, KBJ enjoyed another rousing success.

Singer songwriter Marc Robillard is enjoying growing success as he continues his collaboration with the Articulation Agency in the second quarter.  Robillard kicked off his west coast tour to promote his new album “Left London” with the help of the team at Articulation.  Through social networking sites and email marketing, Articulation sought to mobilize Robillard’s existing fans as well as expand his reach to new fans through the use of Facebook, Myspace, Jango and Reverbnation.  The culmination of Articulation’s social networking and traditional marketing combined with Robillard’s talent resulted in a successful tour with new fans already asking for more.

According to a survey by the Worldcom Public Relations Group, 54% of Business to Business company leaders will increase spending on social media this year.  Twitter is the most popular avenue with 85% of global respondents followed by Facebook (74%) and LinkedIn (72%).  According to the Worldcom B2B Practice Group, this survey shows that companies recognize the importance of social media, but are still working to find the best way to portray their brand through these different mediums.  Due to the increased budgets, we can expect to see an increased level of comfort with social media this time next year.

It’s been another busy quarter for K. Brunini Jewels and the Articulation Agency.  KBJ, a couture jewelry company based in Sand Diego, successfully completed its 10 year business plan in fourth quarter 2010. Using Constant Contact for the couture jewelry company’s newsletters and updates, the team gathered and analyzed data to find the most effective way to grab the attention of KBJ’s existing clients as well as attracting new business. The Articulation development team is also working on the build-out of an intricate backend management system to streamline inventory and image management.

Carlin and Buchsbaum, a leader in employment law in California, recently enlisted Articulation to redesign their brand and corporate website.  Ready to develop and implement a new look, C&B enlisted the help of Articulation to develop new functionality and a new design scheme. Using Word Press as a Content Management System to build and run the new site, the team worked to revamp the Carlin and Buchsbaum name through a fresh design, updated brand identity, new web content, and detailed search engine optimization. As a result of the updated brand, newly designed website and SEO, Carlin & Buchsbaum is experiencing a growing client base while simultaneously attracting top talent in the employment law field.

In the first quarter, Articulation supported the launch of Marc Robillard’s sophomore album, “Left London”. Through the utilization of social networking sites, the team set out to expand Robillard’s fan base, strengthen his brand, and garner increased visibility for maximum impact when the CD hit the shelves.  Articulation’s efforts included design of the album artwork, social networking sites and marketing materials that all came together to ensure a successful launch.

Articulation recently contributed design work on a custom Closed Captioning pod for Adobe Connect. Through our relationship with high-end eLearning and development shop eSyncTraining, Articulation provided architecture and design for both the user interface and user experience. The team was challenged to maximize accessibility and functionality, while creating a clean, modern look that seamlessly integrates into the Adobe Connect workspace. User interface features include customizable font, text size, text color and background color, adjustable pod size, multiple language and source options, and rewind and fast forward time controls. With the new custom pod, Adobe will be able to effectively deliver and manage Closed Captioning services for their release of Connect Pro 8.
